Ben Sears is one of the chefs and owners of Paper Bird in Potts Point. Together with his business partners Eun Hee An & Ned Brooks he opened the venue as a continuation of Moon Park, their contemporary Korean restaurant in Redfern. Broadening their brief at the new establishment the chefs take their cues from the cuisines of East Asia: predominantly Korea, Japan and China. The restaurant has been awarded a chefs hat from the Fairfax Good Food Guide and won Best New Restaurant from Sydney Time Out magazine.
